POETRY

Voice and vision

We will work on listening for and developing a poetic ‘voice,’ and dreaming up and translating a poetic ‘vision.’ We will examine these key aspects of craft and imagination by engaging with multiple literary traditions, the endless sounds and sights of the world, as well as the dream-shards and music in our own heads. In this course, there is no divide between page and stage.
