Suitable for beginners and more experienced writers, this course will guide participants through the stages of writing for film from first idea to final script. Using personal experience and concrete examples of how script becomes film, it will provide a rough guide through some of the pitfalls of creating a full-length screenplay.

Rona Munro’s TV and film dramas include Ladybird Ladybird directed by Ken Loach, Aimee and Jaguar and Refuge. She has written episodes of Dr Who and Casualty. Her stage plays include Iron and Bold Girls.
Aschlin Ditta wrote Scenes of a Sexual Nature, French Film and All Our Christmases, which goes into production in the spring. He writes for TV, including three seasons and various specials of The Catherine Tate Show.
