Insights into writing film
We will look at what makes a good screenplay – and what makes a great one. We'll discuss basic screenwriting skills: how to create compelling characters and drama, how to find the strongest possible structure for the story, and how to tell it in visual terms. Your tutors, two working screenwriters, will help you refine your own scripts in individual sessions and give you insights into what films get made – and why.
