Inspiration and perspiration
Equally as relevant to the veteran as the beginner, this course will address the standard elements of short stories and novels – narrative, characterisation and voice, for example – but will also focus on the instinctive, imaginative and experimental side of the writing process.

Jeremy Sheldon
Jeremy Sheldon’s collection of short stories, The Comfort Zone, was published by Jonathan Cape and his debut novel, The Smiling Affair (Vintage), was published in 2005. He works as a tutor on the MA in Creative Writing programme at Birkbeck, London.
