Paul Abbott: new guest

Paul Abbott, creator of Shameless, will be joining tutors David Allison (The Case, Boy Meets Girl ) and Chloe Moss (Misfits, Skins) as the Wednesday evening guest on Writing for Television at Lumb Bank - The Ted Hughes Arvon Centre, taking place from 14 to 19 May 2012.
Guest tutor Eleanor Greene will be joining the group on Wednesday for a workshop.
Grants are available for those on low or no income.
Paul Abbott has become one of the most critically and commercially successful British TV writers and producers; starting his writing career on Coronation Street and onwards to his multi award winning semi-autobiographical Shameless, currently filming its ninth series. He is also responsible for the creation of some of the most highly-acclaimed UK television dramas of the 1990s and 2000s, including Reckless, Touching Evil, Clocking Off and State of Play.
