The Arvon Foundation works with young people from disadvantaged areas and backgrounds and gives them a week in an environment rich with ideas and inspiration. Inner city kids with little recourse to artistic activities find themselves in beautiful old houses in the country, being treated like adults, and being taught by published writers. It’s a powerful and often life-changing experience, giving people opportunities they might never have had.

Supporting one such education course would mean that 16 Under-18s would benefit from your generosity, their local community would benefit from their experiences, and they would share their newfound confidence and knowledge with their classmates back at school. Maybe your company’s offices are based near socially deprived inner city or rural areas? This could be part of your company's Corporate Social Responsibility committment.
