Course Fees
The fee for 2009 courses is £575, which includes all workshops, tutorials and readings, and full board accommodation in a single room. Shared rooms are available at the reduced rate of £525.
Writers Retreats are £405 - these are untutored weeks where you can concentrate on your writing without distractions. The Arvon Friends Writers Retreat is £370.
Our new Arvon One-to-One Writing Retreats are £650 per place and limited to ten writers per course.
Grants
The Arvon Foundation and Arts Council England subsidise all course fees, so what you pay does not reflect the real cost. This is to make sure that as many people as possible can experience the Arvon magic and release and realise their imagination with words.
We’re so committed to giving everyone the chance to write that we even run a unique grants system to help you pay our subsidised fees.
We also have a limited number of grants available for teachers, a special grant for voluntary workers and grants for under-25s in the South West.
