The UK's Poetry Society is 100 years this year and, Arvon being a mere snip at 41, we would like to raise a metaphor-full glass to the organisation that looks out for poets and poetry on these islands and beyond.

The Poetry Society is a charitable organisation, founded in 1909, that provides support, information and merchandise for specialists and the general public alike. They have over 3,000 members worldwide and engage with and support diverse poetry audiences. The Poetry Review - published from the heart of the organisation - is one of the UK's most prestigious poetry journals.
