I arrived at Totleigh Barton rather sceptical that I'd do much of my own writing, what with all the classes and meals and people and fun to be had. But how wrong I was. Time goes slower there and everyone writes. It's not an effort; it's just what you do in those quiet long hours between the shorter more sociable ones. By the end of the week I'd made progress on which I'm still building, months later.
