1. Arvon's new Artist in Residence
   

   Patricia Osses, a visual artist from Brazil, has been filling the John Osborne Arvon Centre with new sound.

2. Moniack Mhor Centre Director Wins Prestigious Prize
   

   Cynthia Rogerson, Centre Director at Moniack Mhor in Inverness, where 15 Arvon courses are held each year, has won the prestigious V.S.Pritchett short story prize for "A Dangerous Place".
