Workshop with Tollgate School at Lumb Bank

There are two ways that teachers can benefit from an Arvon residential course.
Firstly, adults can attend our public courses detailed on our website. If you can’t afford the full price then you can apply for our general grants scheme or a teachers’ grant. Our most popular open courses include Starting to Write, Fiction and Poetry, but we offer a huge range from Creative Non-Fiction and Theatre to Online Writing and Writing for Games.

Secondly, schools from across the UK can bring up to 16 young people at a time, and two teachers, for a five-day residential course at a centre. Arvon can in certain circumstances assist with funding thanks to the generosity of individuals, companies, trusts and foundations.
If you are interested in bringing a group to Arvon, first contact Leanne Griffin, our Communications and Participation Administrator, to discuss your requirements. leanne.griffin@arvonfoundation.org /020 7324 2562.
